This is the car that rang in the muscle car era. This particular version rolled out of Pontiac’s factory assembly plant in January 1967 with everything one could possibly want in a classic muscle car, including a numbers-matching 400 High-Output V-8 engine, a four-speed manual transmission, 3.55 gears and dual exhaust. It comes in a Tyrol Blue exterior over a black vinyl interior, along with Firestone Wide Oval tires on steel wheels.

This Pontiac GTO was fully restored to the highest points-judged standards, and received Gold and Senior Gold certification from the Pontiac-Oakland Club International and Gold certification from the GTO Association of America. Inside, drivers and passengers will find a plethora of additional options include power steering, rear defogger, Soft-Ray glass outside remote mirror and rare factory radio-delete. It has only been driven 43 miles since its no-expense-spared, nut-and-bolt frame-off restoration.

According to Motor Trend, “The GTO offers performance with a capital P. Not only did it have gobs of brute horsepower, but it looked well built and had a luxurious, comfortable, all-vinyl interior.
