However, that is not the case with rare motorcycles, which have become scarce owing to some fiasco that happened during the time of their release or the fact that not many people bought them, to begin with; only to realize how valuable they were once completely off the market. 10 Triumph Daytona Super III

Having a short-lived three years of production, the Triumph Daytona Super III had less than a thousand units produced throughout its history. However, this is one of the best bikes that Triumph had ever produced, and although it had a top-heavy geometry, it did not fail to impress riders with the incredible power and distinguishable character from its three-cylinder 885 cc engine.
Furthermore, a design to die for and tuning that was done by Cosworth made this Triumph motorcycle one of a kind. However, it soon vanished from the markets as well as the roads, with only a few models left in existence. The UK, Triumph’s home country has none of these bikes on their roads and only two units are registered on SORN, their official off-road vehicle database.

Keeping the Isle of Man TT Championships in mind, which lost the status of being a part of the World Championship back in 1977, Ducati decided to remind the racing fraternity of the value of the race by introducing their production motorcycle series ‘TT Formula’. Since the inception of this series, Britain’s Tony Rutter had won the F2 class of the race four times consecutively between 1981-1984, riding Ducati’s famed Ducati 600 TT2, prompting the company to design a similar limited-edition bike.
